June 18th - 3rd Saturday Signups are live! This month, we have multiple opportunities to serve our community.

  1. Project Host
  2. TR Farmer's Market Children's Tent
  3. Foster the Love
  4. Doggy's Day Out
  5. Swamp Rabbit Trail Cleanup
  6. The Village Wrench (1st Saturday Serve Date)

We have partnered with Project Host, located in Downtown Greenville! We are looking for people to continue to build relationships with those who need meals in Northern Greenville County, no questions asked. In April of 2022, we gave 120 meals; in May of 2022, we gave 182 meals, and had the privilege of providing homeless citizens a place to rest from the heat, food to eat, and a place to shower. It is our continued hope to grow with our community to provide more. If you know of any areas in Northern Greenville County that may have need, please e-mail Pastor Marcus Jones at Marcus@trailside.church.

With the leadership of Kim Searcy, our Children's Director at Trailside, we have partnered with the City of TR to bring back the Children's Tent at the TR Farmer's Market every 3rd Saturday from May through September of this year! This is an amazing way to impact our families in the local community and beyond by providing children with activities, parents with fellowship, and families a moment of respite while at the market. Volunteer to make a difference in the lives of children and their families today! (Please Note: You must be background checked in order to volunteer in this capacity).

With the leadership of Elder Mike Schrock, we are now partnered with The Village Wrench! There will be three training dates coming up for future volunteers on April 21st, April 28th, and May 5th in order to prepare people to help with bike repairs as well as hospitality training (helping with refreshments, etc.). This is over the three weeks leading up to the 1st Saturday of the month, which is when the volunteer event is every month! May 7th is the date of the first one! Check the information tab for sign-ups and more information, soon!

With the leadership of Lane Gajda and Jaycee Jones, Foster the Love is open! There is a need to help organize children's clothes, shoes, cribs, and other items here at TSC in order to properly inventory what we have on hand to thus bless others with! If you are interested in knowing more about Foster the Love, please click to the left! We hope to continue to grow this ministry to allow for donations to go to those who may also be in need of the meals. With this said, we are looking for clothes and shoes for adult men ranging from L - XXL shirts, pants in sizes of 36 - 42, and shoes. Please feel free to e-mail Pastor Marcus at Marcus@trailside.church if you have donations!

Lastly, we hope to conitnue to support Greenville County Animal Care through their Doggy's Day Out program. Click the link to the left for more information and to sign up! We are looking for up to 5 families to help advocate for animals at Animal Care!

Please note, there are separate sign up sheets for the different teams. The sign up sheets for the different teams can be found by clicking the team in the left hand column at the bottom of their respective pages! We will meet at 08:15am at the church for coffee, a light breakfast (yogurts, bagels, cereal), fellowship, and then leave by 08:45am so we can separate into our teams to serve!

The Mission of 3rd Saturday has been reviewed and changed to better serve the Upstate of South Carolina, our city, and local communities.

Currently, Pastor Marcus is working on maintaining and building relationships with current 501.c3 organizations in the upstate that align with the mission and vision of Trailside Church. The following organizations are currently being considered or have partnered with TSC:

        4. World Relief, located on Wade Hampton Blvd (Click for Website) (Status: Pending)

Outside of these organizations, there are other local groups we have historically worked with, aim to continue growing relationship with, or wish to partner with in the Future:
